Mr. Hamid brings with him 44 years of experience working with Pakistan International Airlines, Emirates Airline, Gulf Air and presently working with the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) as senior AVSEC & Dangerous Good Inspector.

He started his airline career working in the cargo operations that exposed him to all areas of airport, cargo operations & cargo marketing.

He has pursued his career development by attending and securing distinction in various IATA/ICAO training courses for self and trainer growth. With the rich knowledge and skills acquired from operations, he took the task to handle Domestic and International Cargo Training Programs.

As a Training & Development Specialist for 20 years, he delivered cargo training courses worldwide.

He specializes in Dangerous Goods Regulations, Radioactive Materials, Live Animals Regulations, Cargo Tariff, Cargo Handling and Cargo Proration.

He holds diplomas in Air Cargo, Training and Logistics & Transport.  Hamid was a member of IATA/FIATA Cargo Training Development Grope (IFDG) for 9 years and Vice Chairman of IFDG from 2004-2005. He is also a Consultant to IATA and contributes in developing Cargo Introductory, Cargo Rating and Dangerous Goods Regulations course material. He also sets the worldwide examinations for IATA on regular basis.
